Global Sports Innovation Center powered by Microsoft (GSIC), in partnership with Mass Participation World (MPW), have launched the GSIC MPW Innovation Challenge, a unique platform designed to foster collaboration and innovation in the mass participation industry.
The GSIC MPW Innovation Challenge aims to help transform the industry by bringing together stakeholders and innovative tech solution providers to address real-world challenges. In an extension of the partnership between GSIC and MPW which started in 2018, the finalists will present their solutions to delegates and investors at the 9th edition of Mass Participation World Conference (MPW24) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 4-6 December.
Challenge Details
The GSIC MPW Innovation Challenge invites companies and startups from around the world to address 12 curated problem statements submitted by various stakeholders from the mass participation industry including World Athletics, Chicago Event Management, London Marathon Events, Running Industry Alliance (RIA), International Orienteering Federation (IOF), Run Calgary, Fresh Events Asia, Quad-City Times Bix 7, Blerter, njuko, Thaidotrun , Chronomax and more.
Participants will gain the opportunity to:
- The opportunity to implement a pilot project and/or be matchmade with the problem statement owners who are part of this Challenge;
- The opportunity to be part of the PR and marketing materials to promote the solution
- The opportunity to pitch their solution onsite during MPW24 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 5-7 December 2024
- The opportunity to meet key members of the global mass participation industry during the 9th edition of Mass Participation World Conference (MPW24) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Participants will have the chance to connect with key players in the industry, gain a deeper understanding of their challenges, and propose cutting-edge solutions.
