GSIC powered by Microsoft joins SPORTSDAQ as Global Sports Innovation Partner, creating new opportunities for international collaboration, knowledge exchange and business development.
The Global Sports Innovation Center powered by Microsoft and SPORTSDAQ have announced a strategic partnership designed to connect India’s growing sports ecosystem with an international community of sports organisations, technology companies, startups, investors, universities and public institutions.
As SPORTSDAQ’s Global Sports Innovation Partner, GSIC powered by Microsoft will support the international development of the event by bringing global expertise, innovators, investors, organisations and strategic partners to Ahmedabad.
SPORTSDAQ 2026, taking place from 26–28 November in Ahmedabad, will be the first major platform for the collaboration. Organised by Exhibetter and Round3, the three-day conference and expo is expected to welcome more than 1,000 delegates from sport, government, technology, infrastructure, investment, media and business.
Through the partnership, GSIC will contribute to the conference programme, facilitate high-level discussions and share international best practices. The collaboration will also create opportunities for business development, investment, technology validation, knowledge exchange and cross-border partnerships.
The programme will explore areas including sports technology and digital transformation, artificial intelligence and data analytics, fan engagement and monetisation, athlete performance and sports science, and innovation in broadcasting, media and content distribution.
“Through our partnership with SPORTSDAQ, GSIC powered by Microsoft wants to support this transformation by enabling knowledge exchange, strategic collaboration and new business opportunities between India and our global ecosystem,” said Iris Córdoba, Managing Director of GSIC.
The partnership will also provide a platform for Indian companies, startups and sports organisations to showcase their capabilities internationally, connect with potential partners and investors, and explore access to new clients and markets.
Beyond SPORTSDAQ 2026, both organisations intend to develop long-term connections between India’s sports ecosystem and the GSIC global network. The objective is to identify future programmes, partnerships and practical opportunities that support the internationalisation of Indian sports innovation and strengthen collaboration across the global sports industry.
