Valencia, 26 November 2025 – The Global Sports Innovation Center powered by Microsoft (GSIC) announces the delivery of 100 licenses for the specialized course “Artificial Intelligence and Innovation in Sport” offered on the Founderz platform, aimed at professionals and organizations within the sports ecosystem in the Valencian Community.
This program aims to drive digital transformation and the adoption of emerging technologies in the sports sector, providing practical and strategic training on how to apply AI to enhance processes, performance, and fan experience.
The licenses are being distributed this week, and dozens of federation executives, business owners, and industry leaders have been invited to the GSIC Testing Lab at La Harinera in Valencia to learn about how the course works, as well as the opportunities it offers for innovation within their organizations.
This project arises within the framework of the GSIC Testing Lab and the agreement between GSIC and Valencia City Council, through Valencia Innovation Capital and the Valencian Region, with the aim of positioning the city as a global leader in sports innovation and technology applied to sport.
The course, developed by Founderz with the backing of GSIC and Microsoft, includes content on generative AI, automation, data analysis, and practical cases applied to sport, and is designed for executives, managers, and professionals seeking to lead innovation in their entities.
The training is being delivered the same week that testing begins with startups from around the world in the Valencian Community, with the first being Vitbio, a Taiwanese startup specializing in smart soles; in collaboration with the Valencia Golf Federation and in the weeks preceding the GSIC Summit in Valencia, which for the first time, after being held in Madrid and Singapore, will take place in Valencia on 16 and 17 December.
