Building Football’s Future: Global Lessons from 100+ FIFA Forward Infrastructure Projects

After more than 25 years working in the sports industry, David Rosa will present one of the most complex and ambitious portfolios delivered through the FIFA Forward Programme: more than 100 infrastructure projects across 68 countries worldwide. Drawing on extensive international experience, the presentation will offer a unique global perspective on how football infrastructure can support sporting development, strengthen national associations and create a lasting impact.

The session will provide an overview of the design, functionality and implementation of technical centres and stadiums in highly diverse geographical, social and operational contexts. Through real project experience, David will highlight the key challenges, lessons learned and practical principles behind the development of safe, efficient and sustainable facilities tailored to the specific needs of football around the world.
