World Motorsport Tourism Congress

The RACE Foundation, in collaboration with the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) and UN Tourism, and with the support of the Community of Madrid and Madrid City Council, is organizing the first edition of the World Motorsport Tourism Congress at the Circuito de Madrid Jarama – RACE on June 15 and 16, 2026.

As part of the Madrid World Capital of Mobility and Motorsport project, and building on UN Tourism’s ongoing efforts to support the development of events that promote sustainable sports tourism, the congress agenda will highlight the different sporting disciplines linked to the world of motorsport (car and motorcycle racing) and their capacity to contribute to progress and the development of sustainable tourism.

With an estimated attendance of 300 participants, the World Motorsport Tourism Congress will bring together high-level representatives from the tourism and motorsport sectors to exchange ideas, best practices, and perspectives on this segment of sports tourism, including its economic impact, its contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals, and strategies to effectively promote destinations associated with these events.

Iris Córdoba, Managing Director at GSIC, will share GSIC member experiences in the field of Business Intelligence and Sports.

We invite GSIC members to join the event here: https://www.fundacionrace.org/madrid-wmtc/
