Sherpa Sports was founded by Darrick “DJ” Johnson, a technology leader with deep experience in B2B tech sales and AI innovation. His background as a former CFL athlete and sports agent gives Sherpa its athlete-centric design. Joining him are Rashaad Reynolds, Chief Revenue Officer and former NFL defensive back turned elite sales leader, who brings operational discipline and front-office insight; Julian Dowell, Chief Product Officer, driving intuitive, high-impact software for sports organizations; and Lakevious Battle, Chief Technology Officer, a former Microsoft engineer leading Sherpa’s AI infrastructure and enterprise-grade security. Together, this team blends expertise in sports, technology, and business to deliver smarter, faster, data-driven tools for the industry.
