Sports Tech Growth Lab #4 - Digital Marketing
Session 4: Digital Marketing
How to turn LinkedIn and cold outreach into pipeline
Many deals in sports tech start with a message someone decided to answer.
The problem is that clubs, federations and brands receive far more pitches than they can read, and many cold emails and LinkedIn DMs end the same way: unopened, unanswered or politely ignored.
The difference between silence and a booked meeting is the message.
In this live session, we have invited Yurii Veremchuk, Founder of YGTM, who has built a LinkedIn audience of 97K by sharing, almost daily, how he turns DMs and emails into pipeline.
He will break down
- how to build a digital presence that warms prospects up before you ever write to them
- how to write a first message that earns a reply
- how to follow up in a way that moves the conversation forward instead of chasing it
The session will also cover the moments most founders underestimate: what to do after the first “sounds interesting, tell me more”, how to turn a reply into a booked meeting, and how to make outreach a repeatable system rather than a burst of effort before every event.
Sports Tech Growth Lab
Sports Tech Growth Lab is a new GSIC online event format designed to bring more strategic value to our members throughout the year.
Every month, GSIC will host a live 1-hour expert-led session focused on one key growth topic for sports tech companies, startups, scaleups and innovation-driven organizations. Each session will provide practical insights, industry knowledge and direct access to GSIC experts, ambassadors, partners and international ecosystem leaders.
The program is built around the real challenges faced by companies in the sports industry: raising capital, preparing stronger pitches, entering new markets, protecting intellectual property, validating technology, building B2B visibility, accessing public funding and creating business opportunities within the GSIC network.
Unlike traditional webinars, Sports Tech Growth Lab is designed as a live-only experience. Sessions will not be recorded, reinforcing participation, interaction and the value of being present within the GSIC community.
What members can expect
Members will gain access to 12 live sessions per year, each focused on a specific growth challenge. The sessions will combine expert insights, practical recommendations, market knowledge and opportunities for Q&A and networking.
