SportAI (Norway), a leading innovator in AI-powered sports performance technology, has announced the successful close of a $3 million funding round, attracting global attention from major outlets including Sports Business Journal, Axios TAG, Tech.eu, and EU-Startups. This milestone marks a significant step toward SportAI’s mission: making world-class performance analysis accessible to athletes everywhere.

The investment brings game-changing expertise to SportAI’s leadership team. Endre Holen, former McKinsey & Company senior partner and board member at Hudl, joins as Chairman, adding decades of experience at the intersection of technology and sports. The round also includes backing from elite athletes such as Casper Ruud and Alejandro Bedoya, who understand firsthand the importance of high-performance insights.

With this funding, SportAI will accelerate deployment of its AI-driven video analysis platform across:training facilities and academies, sports federations, broadcasters, equipment brands

SportAI’s technology transforms any video source into instant biomechanical and tactical insights, eliminating the need for costly equipment or specialized coaching. This breakthrough enables clubs, coaches, and athletes to make data-driven decisions faster and more affordably.

SportAI’s momentum has been highlighted in Norway’s leading financial newspaper, Dagens Næringsliv, and the company is a regional finalist in the Global Startup Awards, representing Norway and the sports tech ecosystem on the global stage.
